Bringing Hope To Hendricks County
Hope Healthcare Services was originally started as a branch of the Kingsway Christian Church before becoming its own non-profit entity in 2006. When we first opened our doors, we relied on the compassionate volunteer work of medical and dental professionals, pharmacists, receptionists, and other medical workers to keep serving the Hendricks County community. Since opening our doors in 2005, hundreds of volunteers have given their time and effort to provide medical, dental, and spiritual care to members of our community in over 16,000 patient visits.
Patients of Hope Healthcare are typically those who are unable to obtain health insurance through employment or other means and also do not qualify for government assistance. These patients are given compassionate treatment by both volunteers and our staff.
Every patient that we serve at Hope Healthcare Services is given individualized care to mind, body, and spirit by highly qualified staff and medical volunteers in our top-notch facilities. We believe the ultimate hope is found in relationship with Jesus Christ, and it is the foundation of our work at Hope.
Helping Our Most Vulnerable Community Members
Hope Healthcare Services is committed to serving the Hendricks County community with compassionate and affordable healthcare. Our focus is to address the medical, dental, and spiritual needs of our community.
Hendricks County is currently ranking 2nd in the state of Indiana for overall health. This is fantastic, but there is always room for improvement, and we are committed to being a positive force for change. One area of community health that could use improvement is that 12% of the Hendricks County population reports experiencing frequent mental distress. Mental distress can increase the risk of a whole host of medical issues. Through increasing the spiritual health of our community as well, we believe we will be able to provide better care to the most vulnerable citizens of our community.
Our spiritual care department at Hope Healthcare works to make sure that our patients always feel welcome and at ease. We also believe that our patients deserve the best medical, dental, and spiritual care that is possible. Whether it’s just a checkup or something more in-depth, our team has all the skills necessary to provide top quality care.
Medical, Dental, and Spiritual Services
Our goal is to offer various services to serve those who don’t have access to insurance or government assistance. Hope Healthcare is committed to provided quality healthcare to members of the Hendricks County community who need it most. This helps our most vulnerable citizens avoid the high costs of urgent care facilities, emergency room visits, and other medical expenses. The overall goal of Hope is to improve the public health of our community. Our compassionate volunteers are what makes it possible to provide no-cost or low-cost healthcare to those without insurance. Spiritual care can seem abstract or tricky at first, but it can truly shape your family member’s outlook on life. We know that positivity can shape our mental and physical health of our patients and family members. We work to provide first-rate emotional and spiritual care at Hope Healthcare Services that honors our faith traditions.
Hope Healthcare Services provides access to spiritual services for our community to help heal both mind and spirit. Our services include, but are not limited to: counseling services, volunteer Lay counselors for patients and families, as well as access to spiritual resources.
Addressing Mental Health Needs
At Hope Healthcare, we also offer services that address mental health issues. Through our Refining Grace program, we facilitate a counseling experience that allows space to safely explore concerns while offering support, encouragement, and tools that help our clients more successfully manage their inner processes and relationship dynamics.
